Novak Djokovic leads the odds for the men’s US Open in 2022 and is the favorite to win the tournament. He is followed by Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz, who are solid contenders (as mentioned earlier, Medvedev was last year’s winner).

Before I offer my analysis on Djokovic, it’s worth mentioning that he may not compete due to health protocols. He also missed this year’s Australia Open due to his vaccination status.
On the bright side, the 35-year-old Serb made a big statement at Wimbledon this year, beating Nick Kyrgios to win the title. Djokovic is now second all-time in Grand Slam victories, behind only Rafael Nadal by one title.
